| This Playground is located in the middle of parklands, away from the road and making it nice and safe for kids. There's a huge fort with ramp access and once inside the bigger kids can climb to the top, explore and come down the slide. For the smaller kids there's a shaded sandpit and swings nearby. There's play equipment for the bigger kids and a maze to keep them entertained. Don’t forget to go to the top of Centenary Tower (next to the playground) for great views as far as you can see.... |

| A hundred hectares of park with plenty of grass, wetlands (with boardwalk) and large playgrounds next to the Olympic Park at Homebush Bay. There are extensive walking tracks (some can be steep) and also playgrounds with and without shaded areas. The more popular play area for smaller kids is located at the far end near the Concord West train station. The kiosk can provide much needed refreshments and there are also public toilets and parking near by. |

| This is popular with families’ picnicing at the waters edge on an array of shaded tables. There is a small enclosed playground with a rocker, swings and slide and also nearby sandy beaches to play on – at the Parramatta rivers edge. On one side is a beautiful floral garden with a pagoda. The Cabarita Olympic sized swimming pool is also in this park. |

| The park covers more than 260 hectares drawing more than 5 million visitors annually. Aside from the huge open grassy areas with large shady trees, (ideal for picnics) there are also ponds, play areas, a kiosk and a restaurant. The Kiosk play area is ideally for one to five year olds and there is a play area for bigger kids (up to 12) near the Paddington Gates entrance. It is also ideal for pram pushers wanting to get some exercise along Grand Drive. |

This is a really friendly playground for kids of all ages. The playground is divided into three areas for litte ones, juniors and older kids with a separate area on the other side of the park that has toddler swings and a court area for ball sports.

Hewison Reserve, St Kilda East VIC

| This reserve is a great place to get kids on their bikes with it's smooth winding paths that are ideal for beginners. There's plenty of play equipment that is better suited to the pre-schoolers including stepping stones and various bolder and timber climbing structures. It has been designed to make the most of a relatively small area and it works really well. There's shade provided by the trees in summer, picnic tables and a BBQ but no toilets. Parking is on-street.
